I understand you're wanting to do some vetting before making the final decision to book my technical services. Let me tell you about my background as a professional computer nerd:
I started college pursuing a career in electrical engineering with a minor in computer science. This introduced me to programming (Java) and a whole lot of algebra and calculus with a side of physics. Over time, I realized that I was more interested in the computer and programming aspect of my education than electronics. I enrolled in more courses focused around programing (assembly, C/C++, and Python joined the chat) and cybersecurity, which led to a growing interest in cybersecurity.
Some changes in majors later and I landed myself in IT. The last few years have seen me configuring and deploying computers and network gear (Ubiquiti/UniFi) for client organizations around Southern Oregon and Northern California. Through managing Windows host servers and VMs, I learned a thing or two about scripting and automating tasks. It's fun stuff!
